Upon arrival to Cairo International Airport. Our representative will assist you through all the formalities. Then you will be escorted to the hotel by an air-conditioned vehicle. Overnight in Cairo.
After breakfast Visit Giza Pyramids and the Sphinx and then visit Memphis, the capital of the Old Kingdom, Sakkara where you will discover the Step Pyramid of King Djoser. Overnight in Cairo.(B)
After Breakfast you will be escorted by the guide to visi the Egyptian Museum with its exceptional collections of Pharaonic art, the Citadel of Salah El Din, Mohamed Ali Mosque. Free time in Khan El Khalili Bazaars. After tour transfer to the railway station for a night journey to Aswan.Dinner and over night on board of the train.( B,D)
Breakfast on board of the train, arrival at Aswan before noon. Aswan keeps the Nubian culture and traditions. This disappearing city under the water, whose inhabitants moved to the surrounding towns. Transfer from the station to the hotel. In the after–noon, visit the Nubian Museum built on the top of the city. Then a journey in a traditional sailboat (Felluca) and stop to visit the botanical garden of Lord Kitchener, with a possibility to walk along the Nile. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. (B)
Breakfast at the hotel and (optional tour) transfer to Aswan airport for the flight to Abou Simbel 280 km south of Aswan. Excursion by bus sharing with other tourists accompanied with an English-speaking guide to visit both temples of Ramses II and his wife Queen Nefertari. What’s interesting is that the sun rays penetrate the main temple only two times a year on February 22nd the king's birthday and on October 22nd day of his coronation. After the visit transfer to the airport by bus sharing with other tourists for the flight back to Aswan. Free time for the rest of the day possibility to go for a walk to the famous souk or to attend the sound and light show at the temple of Philae (supplementary expenses for this optional activity). After breakfast transfer and embarkation on board of the ship for a beginning of a 3 nights cruise. Lunch buffet on board of the boat, visit of the high dam of Aswan one of the biggest dams of the world built between the year1898 and 1902 made entirely of local granite. Visit of the temple of Philae on Agilika island. This temple was destroyed then rebuilt it was named after Isis (B,L,D)
